Papaya is a tropical fruit mostly found in the southern part of India. It is harvested in the months of August to November. The pulp is of a red-orange or yellow color, sweet, and very juicy. It has a very short life span and lives only for 3 to 4 years. This fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E help to reduce the risk of heart diseases and improve digestion. It is used in juices, and smoothies and can be eaten by itself.
