Botanical Name: Cucumis melo
Cantaloupe melon is found largely in South India and some parts of North India. Cantaloupe has softer, orange flesh. It is grown in hot and dry conditions which makes it more sweeter and juicy. These fruits are harvested depending on the surface color. Matured fruit is identified when it changes color from green or grey to yellow. It doesn't have any particular season to harvest. It is rich in vitamins A & C, Fiber, and Potassium which helps to prevent heart diseases and lower bad cholesterol. This melon has more antioxidants compared to other melons. It is used in juices and can be eaten by itself.
MysticRoots exports high-quality frozen IQF Cantaloupe Melon in the form of balls, diced & chunks. The fruits are ripened, sorted, washed, and peeled. The fruits are either made into balls by scooping or hand cut in the form of chunks as per the customer's request. Then they are cleansed, dewatered, and transferred to the IQF.
